100 Things for My 100th Post!

My 100th post! I cannot believe I’ve posted that much. A lot has happened in my two years of blogging. I want to start by saying “thank you!” to each and every one of you. Thank you to each of my followers. Thank you for your support. It means everything to me.

Thank you to every person who has liked and commented on any of my posts. Your feedback is a huge blessing to me. Thank you to anyone who has dropped in and read a post. Thank you!

Here are a few fun facts about my blog.

There have been 71,057 words written on my 99 posts.

I have recieved 1200 likes and 939 comments.

People from 86 countries have visited my site. Places like Sri Lanka, Botswana, Cameroon, Macedonia, Pakistan, and Israel, to name just a few.

I started this blog because I wrote a kids book, Joey Flynn’s Extraordinary Tale. The link is on my home page. I didn’t know what I was doing, or what exactly I was supposed to blog about. I stepped out in faith, trusting that God would equip me, and He did.

I have learned a lot, written a lot, met all kinds of great people, and gotten stronger in my faith in the process. My goal is still the same, “to encourage kids and adults“. I say kids because of my book, and future kids books. I always write from the perspective of my faith and share the truth about the Bible, and Jesus to the best of my ability.

Every post has been prayed over, studied, researched, and written with care to bless you.

Here is my first blog ever Unqualified

Thank you for coming along on this blogging journey with me. I pray that you have been encouraged in some small way by my writing. I am so grateful for you! I’m just getting warmed up. I’ve got lots more to write about.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Love you all,

Meghan

  1. Three things I learned from reading your 100th blog today: I dream of Italy as well, I am your people, and I love you. Okay… I already knew that I love you, and hope you know it, too. Miss seeing you – thank you for sharing your wonderful gift of writing with us all!

    1. Thank you so much Linda! Thanks for taking the time to read it, and comment. It means a lot to me. My mom would faithfully leave a comment on every single blog post. You’re like a second mom to me, so thanks. I’m grateful for you and yes, #48 is creepy. Love you!

  2. Congratulations on #100! I so loved reading about you, it makes my heart smile. I have been encouraged by you my entire life, I always knew God had big plans for you. One of my favorite things about your blog is hearing one of my kids tell me how they were encouraged by your writing…sometimes before I have had a chance to read it. You are one of my people #98 💜. I love you and miss you.

    1. Aaaaww! I had no idea about your kids reading my posts. I knew Livi read a few, but didn’t realize the other kids did too. Thank them for me. That makes me so happy. I’m grateful that you are my sister, who happens to be one of my people. I love and miss you too.

    1. Yes we do have a lot in common. Except you wouldn’t want Junior Mints at the movies or anytime. Thank God for your friendship Carol! We have so many great memories with a whole lot of laughter! I love you my friend.

  5. Congratulations, Meghan. What did you do, log them in a notebook and number each one. LOL More and more I’m hearing people say this is their 100th, 200th, even one writer hit 500. How do you do that? It’s easy for me with my newsletters because I started on a January and only have one a month. But I love that you’ve written so many. And the ones I’ve read were wonderful.

It’s good to know you plan to write and second, or even a third book too. 🙂

    1. Thank you Sharon! 100 came up faster than I expected. When I started blogging 2 years ago, I would write maybe twice a month, sometimes 2 or 3 times. Last fall I made a decision to be consistent with a weekly post. It gives me a deadline each week. I always pray about what to write and God gives me ideas on exactly what to write. That may not work for everyone, but that’s what works for me. You have been so supportive, and a big blessing to me. Thank you so much!
I love your newsletter. It’s filled with fantastic content.

  6. Congratulations on 100 blog posts!!! LOVED reading your list. Love sharing our mutual fondness for sky, flowers, baking, & distast for creepy/distracting church massages:) I am so thankful for your gift of writing. I love how God takes an area we see as weak, and does a work! Praising Him for you💕

    1. Thank you Wendy! Of course we have some things in common after so many years of friendship. May the back massage in church get banned! Hahahaha! God can use anybody if He can use me and my weaknesses. I’m so grateful for you.
